"my name,

i hear it echo in your heart"

<3

a bracelet of petals,

i made my sister a bracelet of roses for her birthday using Sarah Winward's ever-so-wondrously-lovely tutorial !!!

i paired the elegant softness of the roses with a frayed hessian ribbon, and although i didn't  have floral tape the wire still worked out wonderfully!!!

how i love these gleamingly soft roses that sit atop our hedge!!!

loveliest of thoughts!!!
{& honeycombed light!!!}

watercolour roses, {a Birthday banner!}

it was my little sister's birthday this weekend
i painted some roses with watercolour and made her a little birthday banner to string across cups filled with roses*

i also made her a little dreamcatcher, knotting tulle around a wire base & attaching a little doily centre and rose quartz pieces

& the last photo is her treasure box i found, filled with tiny rockes, the dried petals of a peony, shells, & rosebuds <3 love you little sis!!!

sweet thoughts dear hearts

~ jottings & marvellings,

embroidering a clamshell, crocheting a rose, & pondering the magnificence of the Iris { a miraculous shimmering composite kingdom.. .the delicacy of the vintage sheath, though delicate, a sure protection for the growing flower, & the petals themselves, that glitter like gold when the sun rests on them.. .in all their lacey glory}

“I want to know

how God created this world. I am

not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the
spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His
thoughts; the rest are details” in Ronald W. Clark,

"Oh, would I could describe these conceptions, could impress upon paper all that is living so full and warm within me, that it might be the mirror of my soul, as my soul is the mirror of the infinite God! "
